 -For direct seeding, plant seed 1” deep, 2.5ft apart in soft soil in area with full sun after last frost [ almanac.com/gardening/frostdates]  and water in deeply and thin to strongest seedling.                                                                                                     —Can be started indoors in pots at least 4” deep, a month before last frost but make sure it has strong lighting to prevent getting leggy and transplant very gently.                                                                                        - We like to trellis (we use t-posts but you can use a sturdy pole/stick) and run string horizontally and weave vines along the string       — Though, it does great planting without trellis, just make sure to not get too much water get on the blooms.
