EXT. New Mexico Skies. A blue sky. Sun rays gleaming like Lunabear’s chain. A New Mexico tourist dials 911—with an urgent message. Citizen Did you just see that 1-2 pound heirloom tomato with soft ribbed shoulders in that hot air balloon with that puggle? WHY IS THERE A HOT AIR BALLON WITH A PUGGLE AND BEAUTIFUL BRANDYWINE LIKE SLICER IN THE AIR? 911 Operator Yes, but that’s no puggle—that’s the space dog. End Scene.

What is Space Dog Farms trying to pitch a movie script? Yes, we are calling the movie Mariana’s Peace Tomato. And HBO just said No, but we say these saved seeds are the largest slicer (beefsteak) heirloom tomatoes we’ve grown! With a beautiful pink skin and juicy flesh and prolific growth—it has enough Hollywood dazzle for BLT’s or Albuquerque Netflix sass for any marinara sauce. Now that’s a review for Mariana’s Peace Tomato.

- Grown and saved right a Space Dog, USA (Albuquerque) these tomato plants have beaten in the hail, drought, horned worms/hoppers, greenhouse failures and are adapted and ready to be planted. - Best started inside for transplants* but roll the Hollywood dice and direct seed outside too. *great for container gardening. But if you were to start indoors - highly suggest heating mats for tomato/peppers (around $20 to cover a flat (32 2” containers) or numerous yogurt containers to quicken germination. - Transplant, when at least 4” tall, after all danger of frost has passed. Mix in some bat guano/organic fertilizer when planting. Make sure soil doesn't get saturated—when in doubt let it dry out—scratch in some organic fertilizer weekly and pinch early flowers for more vegetative growth. Indeterminate—will need trellising. Minimum 30 seeds.
