Indian Melon (Like Cantaloupe) Seeds
Sounds like Jack in the Bean stalk but this time we weren’t trading seeds for a cow, we traded for this very unique Indian melon from a pueblo in New Mexico, closest to a cantaloupe but has an absolutely sweeter taste, with it’s beautiful deep orange flesh and light green and yellow ring. With a fairy tale monster size, at about 1 ft long, and weighing in at around one pound, it’ sure was a fair trade (for out ping tung eggplant plants)
