Sorry is these are personal questions for your first summer melon date, but if some of the answers are yes—this is the fruit for you. 3-4lb, 2 skee ball sized sweet classic melons with the luscious deep gold/orange flesh. It’s perfect for scooping and saving the seeds especially with its geometrically beautifully ribbed rind perfect for that special some gripping and throwing the perfect curve ball. Can be started in peat pots and transplanted out about a few weeks before last frost (almanac.com/gardening/frostdates).                                                             -Plant seeds 1” deep, 2.5’ apart in area with full sun, amend soil with compost and/or organic fertilizers like bat guano/fish meal. Water in deeply and water throughout growth when mature, when top 1.5” of soil is dry. We like to trellis them on string running horizontally but can be spread just make sure too much water doesn’t hit the flowers. -Top dress with bat guano or fish emulsion each week for accelerated growth! Minimum 20 seeds.
