Boo! Did a ghost just sneak up on you? Well, as they say we don’t believe in ghosts, but would like them to believe in themselves and we believe that you reader are ready for this beautifully shiny red ghost pepper. Maxing out at 1,000,000 Scoville units (a jalapeno being around 10,000; habanero being around 350,000 and Carolina reaper being 2,000,000) it’s the perfect medium when you’re ready go half way to the top (hottest pepper being Pepper X at 2,600,000). A classic originating from India, it reaches up to 4ft tall, and develops 3” long wrinkly pods that mature from green to red—almost no heat when eaten green, so put on your Michael Jackson white gloves for safety when handling these bad boys! Great slivered up and put maple syrup corn bread. -best started indoors, one month before last frost  (check almanac.com/gardening/frostdates)                                                                                                       - plant seeds 1/8” deep in pots, best started with heating mats for quicker germination but will be fine put in the warmest area of the house in pots at least 4” deep, mist in lightly         -germinates in 14-18 days (super hots take longer than normal peppers)                                                                                                           - place in area with most light to prevent getting leggy, close to the leaves  - once at least 4” tall - transplant outside around 3ft apart with bat guano/compost/organic fertilizer and feed with fertilizer twice  a week, make sure to let the area dry out first, so those roots get stronger searching for water—great in pots 3 gallons or larger                                                                         - make sure to plant it in area with maximum sun or grow indoors with maximum lighting—Minimum 10 seeds.
