Similar to it’s fellow family member, the daisy, but even sturdier blooms and drought tolerant! Also known as the Indian Blanket Flowers, it produces numerous blooms throughout the year on it’s nearly 2 foot tall woody stalk!

-Plant after last frost (almanac.com/gardening/frostdates) in fertile soil. -  We don’t recommend starting them indoors and transplanting so go straight into the soil.                                                                                                  - Plant two seeds 1/4” deep in area with full sun, every foot in fertile soft garden soil and thin down to the strongest seedling.                                                                                             —Germinating in 15-25 days, be patient and gently keep the soil moist (make sure not to water to heavily and disturb the seed growth)                                                                                                      - As the plant matures, when reaching around 6” tall, make sure to cut back on watering because it is very drought tolerant and roots don’t like being saturated.                                                                                       - As it starts putting on flowers in about 75 days, do start “deadheading” or removing blooms that have died to generate more flower growth.                                                                               —Harvest flowers right as the head starts to open and strip the leaves and put right into your favorite vase with some fresh h20.                                                                                                  - Flowers stay fresh for about 7-10 days, cut the bottom 1/2” of the stem to prolong life while changing water every other day.                                                                                                                - Though not required, apply organic nutrients like fish emulsion diluted in water, every few weeks for maximum yield. Minimum 75 seeds.
