Cilantro Seeds
Wow, is it already Taco Tuesday? 52 or (53 on leap year) chances that it is so if you are reading it on a Tuesday - it’s a sign from the Space Dog to plant these slow-bolting cilantro seeds - enough to satisfy every Taco Tuesday after weekly fresh cuts enough to regrow back each month. Best planted after last frost (mid-April) when the soil warms up for better germination. Cilantro does best cooler temperatures rather than the dead of summer heat, but when it starts to bolt (going to seed) be sure to save the seed or spank them back into the grown for a continuous yield of cilantro throughout the year. Plant 1/4” deep every 1” in area that has with soft soil in full sun or in a large container. Germinates in 7-14 days and all soil to dry out in between deep watering. Ready in about 5 weeks from seeding, harvest when it is around 6”. Do a cut down to the base if you need a bunch (will regrow) or pinch outer leaves for cilantro use as needed!
