This may be a motto to live by but we like YOLO when you are growing this vintage thick-skinned dark green-ribbed spinach variety. So, quit the packaged clamshells and trying growing your one cool weather greens (related to Swiss Chard and Beets—now that’s a family. -Perfect for direct seeding a couple of weeks before first frost in the Spring or when it cools down in the summer to prevent bolting (our experience is it’s slower to flower) but it sure doesn’t appreciate overbearing direct heat beating down on this chicken mcnuggets ™ - but you can use a shade cloth in hoops to cover them.
