Acorn "Table Queen" Squash Seeds

$4.00

These dreidel dang it, siri how do you spell dreidel, oh okay—dreidel shaped dark green ribbed acorn squash growing up to 6” and turns a little more orange while it ripens.  These that are best direct seeded after last frost - depending on your planting zone: https://www.almanac.com/content/plant-hardiness-zones - approximately in our experiences 85-90 days. These winter nuts will store well in cool temperatures throughout fall and winter—for all that acorn nut soup in next year! Great baked at 420F with a little scoop of vanilla ice cream. Note: Ben and Jerry’s goes against their core of having chunky ingredients and offers just vanilla. Mind boggling. Plant seeds 1” deep with bat guano/organic fertilizers, space 1.5ft apart and weed often when young and scratch in and water in fertilizer every other weak. Darnit, alexa, it’s week not weak. Harvest once skin if difficult to pierce with fingernails IMO. Watch out for squash bugs—we’ve heard the best time is to plant after the 4th of July to avoid squash bugs in Albuquerque, but that’s not in the Constitution. Pinch bug eggs often to be proactive or cover in insect barrier if the issue gets worse.  Minimum 25 seeds.
